The OpportunityWe are working with a leading, independent insurance broker that specializes in Property Owners’ and Commercial Insurance markets. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to inherit and develop an existing book of business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and dynamic team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

This role requires someone with a proven ability to manage and expand client portfolios, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

About the RoleAs an Account Executive, you will:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients within the property and commercial insurance sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert advice and identifying tailored insurance solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Account Handlers, to deliver seamless service.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Ensure all activities are compliant with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty obligations, and internal policies.

About YouTo succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:

  • Experienced: Demonstrable experience in managing and growing a portfolio within property and commercial insurance markets.
  • Client-Centric: Passionate about delivering exceptional service and building trusted relationships.
  • Knowledgeable: Strong technical understanding of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Results-Driven: A proven track record of achieving business development targets.
  • Ambitious: ACII qualification (or a willingness to work toward it with support).

Experience with platforms like Acturis will be advantageous, alongside excellent communication and presentation skills.
