Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain FIX protocol connectivity solutions to facilitate electronic trading for equities markets.
- Collaborate closely with trading desks, software developers, and clients to understand business requirements and implement efficient FIX solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring seamless operation of trading systems and platforms.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to FIX protocol and electronic trading technologies.
- Participate in the testing and deployment of new trading algorithms and strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in FIX protocol with a proven track record of implementing and supporting FIX connectivity solutions in equities trading environments.
- Experience working in an equities brokerage or similar financial institution is highly desirable.
