Trainee Mortgage Administrator

Office Location:Central London. This role will be remote though youwill be expected to attend quarterly meetings in London which are 1-day events.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5:30

Salary: 26K - 28,500K DOE

My client is an established, successful HNW Independent Mortgage brokerage who are currently keen to recruit a Trainee Mortgage Administrator due to natural growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Communicate and establish courteous relationships with clients
  • Chase appropriate paperwork from client to complete mortgage applications
  • In association with the wider admin team, manage all mortgage cases from submission to offer stage and deal with post-offer admin and the progression of cases through to completion
  • Liaise with Insurance Providers, Clients, Lenders, Solicitors, Surveyors and GP Surgeries, dealing with their queries concerning Mortgage, Life & General Insurance applications
  • Ensure that all the required case documentation is forwarded to the Life Insurance Providers, Lenders and Solicitors
  • Contribute to the updating of templated suitability letters as required for all relevant cases
  • Dealing with daily tasks set on the CRM System making sure all records are fully updated and managed accordingly and within the timeframes set
  • Complete File Checks and adhere to Compliance standards and ensure that all files are completed to a compliant standard in line with company standards and FCA regulations
  • Maintain a good relationship and work as a team helping and supporting brokers and the administration team
  • Ability to manage your own number of cases and workload prioritising where required

Skills & Experience:

  • You must be organised, have a strong work ethic and be a committed team player who is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Highly Organised and able to apply a structured approach to administrative processes
  • Highly competent in using a range of electronic systems & software
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Familiarity with a range of Mortgage lenders and their requirements

Desirable:

  • Experience of keying Mortgage/ Protection applications once file check has been completed and the case is fully compliant to proceed
  • Ambition to assist in a junior Paraplanning role alongside Administration duties
