About the role:

As a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, you will play a vital role in guiding clients through the complex world of Mortgage & Insurance products and the overall Housing process. Your primary focus will be to provide tailored financial advice and solutions, ensuring clients achieve their homeownership and financial goals.

Responsibilities for the position of Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor

  • Deliver comprehensive and professional mortgage guidance to clients, tailoring solutions to their unique circumstances and aspirations.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with clients, lenders, real estate professionals, and other industry partners.
  • Remain current with the latest UK mortgage industry trends, regulatory developments, and innovative products to offer cutting-edge advice.
  • Identify and seize new business prospects, expanding our clientele and boosting revenue.
  • Oversee the end-to-end mortgage application process, providing expert guidance from the initial client consultation to completion.
  • Apply your in-depth knowledge to present clients with an array of mortgage options and financial products that align with their needs.
  • Maintain meticulous records and adhere to the compliance regulations set forth by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, and legal representatives to facilitate smooth, efficient transactions.
  • Continuously hone your professional expertise through participation in training sessions, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Experience required for the position of Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor

  • CeMAP Qualified.
  • CAS status is desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of the UK mortgage landscape, encompassing products, lenders, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in delivering accurate, personalised mortgage advice to clients.
