Salary: Commission-only role - OTE £70,000 to £150,000 based on performance

About our Client and the role of Specialist Finance Broker:
Our client is a growing specialist brokerage operating across bridging/development finance, commercial mortgages, asset finance, invoice/trade finance, and acquisition finance. With a strong focus on integrity, simplicity, and innovation, the business provides customers access to a wide range of funding options through a high-quality panel of lenders.
The brokerage is expanding to meet growing demand and is seeking a Commercial Broker to join its team on a self-employed, commission-only basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to step away from a corporate environment and thrive in a flexible, performance-driven setting.
Responsibilities for the role of Specialist Finance Broker:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with introducers, becoming a trusted advisor
- Originate new lending opportunities from your network
- Assess and package commercial finance applications
- Approach lenders for Agreements in Principle and underwritten offers
- Maintain full regulatory compliance using the brokerage's CRM system
- Manage client applications from start to finish, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Experience required for the role of Specialist Finance Broker:
- Proven experience in commercial finance, ideally in one or more of the following areas: bridging/development finance, commercial mortgages, asset finance, invoice/trade finance, or acquisition finance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with introducers such as accountants, IFAs, and bank managers
- Ability to assess the viability of deals and articulate them clearly to lenders
- Track record of delivering high levels of service and successful deal outcomes
- A personal introducer network or core book of contacts is highly desirable
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and customer-focused.
