We are excited to offer an opportunity for a proactive and ambitious Accounting Manager to join our team in Hendon, Northwest London. This role is perfect for someone who is fully qualified in ACA or ACCA, with a CTA qualification being an advantageous addition. With a minimum of 5 years of practice experience, the successful candidate will oversee the work of bookkeepers and seniors, reporting directly to the partners.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and oversee the work of bookkeepers and seniors within the department.
- Advise on any queries related to the department’s operations.
- Ensure full knowledge and compliance with UK taxes including corporate, VAT, and individual taxes; international knowledge is an advantage.
- Problem-solving with innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Act as a team worker and motivator, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA fully qualified; CTA qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax regulations, with international tax knowledge being a plus.
- Proven ability to manage staff, caseloads, and client relationships effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Excellent team-working skills with a motivational leadership style.
