If yes, then you might be the perfect candidate for the Accounts Manager role at our firm. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, such as:

  • Prepare and finalise annual accounts, tax returns, payroll, VAT and other related work for a variety of clients, using the information they provide
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services and advice that add value to their business
  • Ensure that all work is completed within the agreed deadlines and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and HMRC, and handle any queries or issues that arise
  • Support your colleagues by providing coaching and feedback
  • Be involved in networking and business development activities under the supervision of senior team members
  • Interact with clients on tax planning strategies and other matters related to their companies
  • Assist clients with book-keeping, accounts software and management accounts as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

ACCA Part Qualified/Qualified 

Minimum 8 years UK accountancy practice experience  

Ability to review a complete accounts file quickly and efficiently

Good in communication skills and negotiation skills

Excellent problem resolutions skills and ideas generation ability

Ability to review a complete personal tax return quickly and efficiently

In depth accounts preparation Knowledge

Knowledge of Accounts systems essentially Sage and their uses and benefits
