Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in a top 10 Accountancy Practice based in London! We are working closely with our client to further expand their increasingly growing Corporation and International Tax Team within their Large Corporates department focusing particularly on clients within the Media Industry.

Their London office is based within central London, close to the tube station.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing your compliance portfolio, assisting both senior managers and directors in managing their work. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Undertake and review Company Tax Returns for your portfolio of clients ready for submission to HMRC
  • Working on tax advisory projects including project financing / M&A tax, group reorganisations, and international tax
  • Monitor junior staff performance and provide essential feedback as well as tend to their necessary training requirements
  • Supporting senior managers, directors and partners on advisory projects
  • Delivering audit of tax and tax advisory for your clients

Requirements

Candidates will need to be fully ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CA/CIPFA qualified, with post qualification experience.

Additional requirements include:

  • Understanding of UK corporate tax legislation as well as international concepts
  • Able to manage a client portfolio as well as complete tax accounting/tax audits
  • Experience in reviewing junior work and providing feedback as well as on-the-job training
  • Strong business awareness.
