What you'll do:

As a Vice President - Credit Manager in the Energy Sector, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Group Heads and General Managers to develop and maintain a sound portfolio within the credit appetite of the EMEA region. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the credit of obligors in specific sectors/regions and make recommendations on borrower ratings and transactions. You will also be responsible for reviewing credit applications received and making recommendations to senior management on transaction-specific files. Your role will require you to monitor the portfolio actively in line with internal policies and applicable regulatory guidelines.

  • Develop knowledge of various types of industries, sectors, countries, players within Energy Sectors

What you bring:

As our ideal candidate for the Vice President - Credit Manager (Energy Sector) role, you bring along extensive experience in a global banking environment, corporate banking or investment banking institution. You possess an in-depth knowledge of credit and risk principles, products and management. Your strong analytical skills enable you to identify key issues effectively. You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal which allow you to communicate clearly and concisely. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for this role. Your ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly sets you apart.
