An excellent opportunity to join an established and highly successful broker as they now embark on significant growth both by acquisition and organically. The role required an individual that has operated in either a wholesale or retail broking environment with M&A experience. The role will commence as a full board member / approved person. Duties will range from:
- Production of business plans, forecasting and main board reporting
- All financial reporting including statutory accounts, monthly management accounts , annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Contributing to board level business decision making
- Cash / treasury management
- Responsible for PRA compliance and reporting
- The full acquisition life cycle - due diligence, full financial support during transactions and post-acquisition integration
- Further external transactions such as finance raising
- Development of the finance function in line with growth
- Acting as principle contact for further external bodies (e.g. HMRC, Auditors)
- Numerous additional related projects both supporting an entrepreneurial management team and relating to finance and operations
