Are you a dynamic Finance Director looking for an exciting scale-up opportunity in a thriving SME group?
Rutherford Briant are recruiting a newly created role for a group with two businesses both in exciting phases of growth. Both businesses have an impressive track record of growth and are well financed and profitable within the FMCG sector.
The role involves:
Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to support business growth and sustainability.
- Act as a key member of the executive team, influencing business decisions with financial insights.
Establishing Financial Processes:
- Design and implement effective financial processes and internal controls tailored to the unique needs of each business.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Costing and Budgeting:
- Develop and enhance costing models for manufacturing processes to accurately reflect expenses and drive profitability.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic targets.
Management Information Systems:
- Overhaul and optimize management information systems to provide timely, accurate reports on financial performance.
- Generate key financial metrics and indicators that inform strategic decision-making.
Board Pack Development:
- Create comprehensive board packs that summarize financial performance, forecasts, and key business metrics for presentation to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all financial reports are clear, concise, and tailored to the needs of the board.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure business operations are adequately funded.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and models to support strategic investment decisions.
The successful candidate will be:
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified.
- Either an existing Finance Director looking for a high growth business where they can add the value of their experience, or an ambitious Financial Controller ready for the jump to a more strategic position.
