Handle Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a leading Music Merchandising Company in their search for a Finance Manager. This newly created position, created through continued growth and success will play a key role in driving the business forward in the next stage of its forward trajectory.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Finance Manager with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to financial accuracy to become an integral part of the finance team working closely with senior business figures.

Responsible for managing financial transactions, statements, and ensuring reporting readiness, the key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the below tasks:

  • Gather and analyse financial information and data for senior management.
  • Artists and Tour Settlements
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Efficiently process financial transactions, journal entries, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure that records and reports are compliance with accounting procedures and processes.
  • Evaluate the company's performance using key data
  • Conduct risk and costs assessment and advise on ways to maximise company performance.
  • Advise on process challenges and suggest improvements.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices.
  • Live Music Accounting experience
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
  • Music Industry experience
  • Working knowledge of financial software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail.
  • Relevant experience and qualifications preferred.

The successful candidate will have experience in working in a senior Management Accountant/Finance Manager position and have experience in the Live Music Sector. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of senior accounting and reporting and on top of that be ready to get stuck in!
