Well established yet high growth technology business has a rare opportunity for an experienced Finance Professional to join their London Office on a part time basis. They are in South West London so a bonus if you're close by.
With offices in London, and Sweden and IT contractors in Mexico and Canada, you will enjoy a truly international environment and be surrounded by decent humans.
With combined turnover of circa £2.5M, you will be the sole finance person and report into the CEO. The outgoing Financial Controller is retiring and eager to support the CEO by providing a thorough handover.
Your role
- Working with the CEO to create long range budgets and forecasts
- Monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
- Bank reconciliation - UK, Euro and USD
- Manage debtors and creditors - low volume high value transactions
- Quarterly VAT
- Annual audit preparation with year end June 30th - working with external auditors
- Monthly Payroll of 10 UK staff
- Liaise with Swedish bookkeeping and payroll firm - review their work and make payments
- Some HR, Company Secretarial and Office Management responsibilities as needed
About you
- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
- Solid all round experience ideally within an SME environment as a Finance Manager / FC
- Professional services / technology industry experience highly regarded but by no means essential
- Systems savvy - excellent excel required and Sage 50 Cloud a bonus but not essential
- Excellent work ethic, able to prioritise, manage your own time and work autonomously
