Finance Manager

Base salary: £60,000-£65,000

Location: London

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the leisure industry, offering a broad range of experiences and responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate financial control, monthly management reporting, preparation of annual financial statements, taxation, business partnering and cost control. With a salary range of £60,000-£65,000 and a host of benefits including 28 days annual leave, an Employee Assistance Programme, pension contributions and more, this role offers a rewarding career path for the right individual!

What you'll do:

  • Accurate financial control & monthly management reporting.

  • Preparation of annual financial statements.

  • Balance sheet reconciliations with a particular focus on prepayments, accruals, and salaries.

  • Taxation (VAT, Gaming duty and corporation tax).

  • Business partnering and cost control.

  • Building strong financial and accounting controls and policies.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant financial discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • Hold a recognised UK accounting qualification (CIMA; ACCA; ICAEW or equivalent)

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel & Word

  • Knowledge of the UK financial regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Extensive experience in application of accounting principles and standards.

  • Acute understanding of handling deadlines and working to a timetable.
