ALink Recruitment are working with a construction company that is looking for a Finance Manager. The role would allow for hybrid working.
The successful candidate must be able tomanage the accounting process through the lifecycle;somebody that can process Purchase Orders and would have an understanding of the onboarding process for new clients, knowing what documents would be required and could get this setup with little assistance.
Day-to-day you will be working within the Finance and Commercial team and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant management of financial and commercial operations. Additionally, you will provide support across financial and commercial activities while identifying and implementing improvements to enhance financial processes and controls.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial report, budgets, and forecasts, including quarter-end and yearend accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including VAT reporting requirements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing purchase and sales invoices, reconciling statements. credit control
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank transactions.
- Track and manage project and company expenses
- Update the commercial dashboard and produce reports for commercial review and quarterly board review
- Provide general support across financial and commercial function
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and controls.
