We are seeking a talented Finance Project Manager to lead a key finance transformation project, enhancing efficiency, improving financial processes, and ensuring compliance across global hubs. Working with finance teams, IT specialists, stakeholders, and consultants, you will drive project success aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage finance transformation projects, optimising systems and processes.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, setting timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve key project milestones.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial oversight and accountability.
  • Facilitate communication and stakeholder engagement across departments.
  • Develop training materials and support change management for smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, donor regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership.

What We Are Looking For

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing finance projects, ideally in an NGO or international setting.
  • Strong skills in project management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Finance transformation experience, including system implementation and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Occasional national and international travel may be required. Ideally two days a week are required in the London based office but with flexibility.
