• Annual Salary: £70,000-£80,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic and astute Global Operations & Finance Manager with a proven track record in the FMCG sector. This role is ideal for someone with exposure to the US market, looking to take ownership of the operational and financial functions within an ambitious, fast-paced start-up environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Take full ownership of production planning for our FMCG arm, ensuring efficient stock levels and compliance with tax regulations.
• Negotiate favourable agreements with suppliers and manage the full supply chain to identify opportunities to improve cost of goods sold (COGs).
• Oversee procurement of POS materials to support marketing campaigns and ensure robust price chains and commercial arrangements are in place for new market rollouts and product launches.
• Support the Finance Manager with month-end reporting and analysis, provide cover for other finance team members as needed, and contribute to the development and maintenance of financial controls and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a finance role within the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of business drivers and financial data translation into actionable insights.
• A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly preferred, although exceptional industry experience can be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Strong technical ability with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups, xlookups etc) and experience with accounting tools (Xero preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptable and able to thrive in a fluid, dynamic environment.
