Cedar is currently partnered with a fast-paced, private equity-backed technology and infrastructure business to secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager, for a Private Equity-Backed Technology & Infrastructure Business. This is a 6-9 Month contract paying between £600-700 per day.

The RoleAs Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting across the Group. This is a broad and hands-on role, supporting month-end close activities, statutory reporting and ensuring high-quality financial outputs in a fast-evolving business environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation and reporting process.
  • Preparing high-quality financial reporting packs for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Supporting year-end statutory accounts preparation in compliance with IFRS.
  • Managing the external audit process and acting as a key point of contact for auditors.
  • Reviewing subsidiary submissions and supporting the integrity of Group-level reporting.
  • Maintaining and enhancing internal reporting controls and processes.
  • Updating and embedding Group accounting policies in line with evolving standards.
  • Collaborating with finance teams across the business to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.

Your ProfileYou will ideally have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven experience in Group consolidation and reporting.
  • Exposure to IFRS within a multi-entity, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive organisation is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative working style.

You'll work alongside an ambitious finance team in a hybrid working environment (typically 2-3 days in a Central London office), with exposure to senior leadership and key decision-makers across the organisation.
