This leading legal powerhouse is looking for an International Operations Manager (12 Month FTC), based in London.

The Department

This firm is looking for someone to manage the development of, and day to day operations, of their international relationships, working closely with the Partner and Chief Brand Officer. There will be a particular focus on South East Asia and Middle East and you will work closely with the senior staff of our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel and Saudi Arabia. You will also work with those partners most involved in international collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the International Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing international relationships and deliver on international strategy. A key focus will be to co-ordinate the BD opportunities between London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and Israel, as well as wider international contact strategy. You will have day-to-day contact with a variety of key stakeholders, including Partners and fee earners in order to manage the operation of international efforts. The role will also involve a close working relationship with the BD team in each practice. A deep understanding of how a law firm operates will be pivotal in enabling you to deliver in this role.

Skills/Experience

We are looking for an individual who is able to integrate themselves in the business; who has a strong interest in the business of law.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • International experience (ideally, knowledge of a second language).
  • Experience of working in a law firm or with fee earners.
  • Proven capability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent research, writing and presentational skills.
  • Experience of working with and manipulating data to identify key themes/trends.
  • Initiative, resilience and a 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with energy, enthusiasm and drive.
  • The ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm.
