Project Manager - London

9 Month Contract - £550 inside IR35

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage key initiatives that drive our strategic goals. In this role, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and issues proactively, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster effective communication among team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessment to identify areas for improvement and leverage lessons learned for future projects.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
  • Project management experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
