We are seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join a global Media business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis efforts to help guide business decisions and drive the company's financial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the company's annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Prepare detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial forecasts and operational goals.
- Identify key financial drivers and trends and make recommendations for improving financial results.
- Create and deliver presentations that summarize financial performance, forecasts, and variance analysis to non-financial business partners.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards to improve data accessibility and decision-making.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across departments (Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
- Lead on strategic initiatives such as M&A, capital expenditure analysis, and business case development.
- Help evaluate financial risks and opportunities in business proposals and initiatives.
Qualifications / Key skills
- 7+ years post qualified experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience of working in a streaming services media business
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A or finance, with a strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Prior experience in a senior FP&A role or within a corporate finance function is preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and interact with senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
