Our ClientA prestigious university based in Central London.The RoleAs Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in providing an effective business partnering service at the university. You will have a strategic mindset, focusing on driving long-term financial sustainability and growth. You will liaise with budget managers to ensure financial resources are managed effectively to achieve financial success. You will adopt an agile approach in teams and also develop relationships and influence decision making. You will be responsible for delivering support for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and providing financial analysis to monitor the delivery of strategic objectives.Main duties:
  • Business partnering with senior leaders to understand priorities, manage financial risks, and identify solutions while establishing influential relationships
  • Support the annual budget setting cycle and manage processes to ensure that all budget reviews and costings are prepared timely and accurately
  • Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the university’s approach to budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Manage, motivate, coach and supervise staff
The Successful Candidate
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • Proven experience relationship building with senior stakeholders across an organisation
  • Experience of working with large data sets with an ability to write and develop financial reports using excel at an advanced level
  • Experience of working in a fast moving financial environment
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
