Are you a strategic finance professional eager to make an impact in the medical research field? If so, we're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to provide a crucial role in aligning finance with the new strategy, driving insightful decision-making, and supporting pioneering research and development projects for this ambitious charity. This is a contract position that will provide additional resource until November.

This forward-thinking organisation dedicated to advancing innovation in healthcare and life sciences. As part of our Finance Team, you'll partner with key business leaders, providing expert financial planning, forecasting, and governance to support high-impact projects.

Your Role

  • Work closely with business leaders to plan and deliver key research and development initiatives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for assigned portfolios.
  • Develop financial models, investment appraisals, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive cost control and compliance, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Influence key stakeholders with data-driven insights, balancing financial sustainability with long-term impact.

What You Bring

? Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.? Proven expertise in business partnering & stakeholder management ideally within the charity/non-profit sector.? Highly analytical mindset with strong financial modelling skills.? Ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.? Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.

Preferred: Experience in financial management of projects, particularly in clinical trials or drug development.
