Local Authority - Senior Finance Officer
£300 - £350 per day inside IR35

We’re working on a great opportunity with a Local Authority within an established Children’s Social Care team. Tasked with supporting the Finance Manager in budget management and analysis whilst meeting with and advising key stakeholders, it’s a great chance to make an impact on an important service within a good team. The role is continuity cover pending permanent recruitment, following a restructure in late summer.
Responsibilities will also include contributing to management accounts and monthly reporting, whilst ensuring year end accounting procedures are compiled. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and work collaboratively to match the culture of the organisation. Whilst Children’s specific experience is not essential, prior experience of working with a local authority is essential.
