Senior Finance systems Manager position now available at global law firm.

As the Senior Finance Systems Manager you will have ownership over the Elite 3e platform and broader finance-related systems. Overseeing a team of 5 people within the Finance systems team, you will take on a hands on managerial role, overseeing the team and developing those individuals. Elite 3e experience is preferred but technical Elite 3e experience is not essential for this role. You will also be tasked with owning the strategy management of future projects.

The team is relatively spread out across multiple locations therefore this person could work remotely/ be based anywhere in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial technology infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, compliant, and aligned with operational needs.
  • Lead system upgrades, configurations, and data management to support business growth.
  • Develop and oversee a team of finance systems specialists, ensuring optimal structure and performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance through regular reconciliations and system balancing procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to facilitate system improvements and manage change control.
  • Manage vendor relationships and advance strategic roadmaps for finance systems.
  • Oversee key financial processes, including month and year-end close, and generate reports using SQL and other tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years in financial systems within an international law firm.
  • Advanced knowledge of Elite 3E and other finance-related systems (e.g., IntApp, Emburse).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with SSRS and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and ETL processes.
  • Proven project management experience, capable of handling multiple work streams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills, with experience overseeing multi-locational teams.
