We are looking for a seasoned accountant from practice who is ready to step up into a Senior Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm that works closely with clients across the Media & Entertainment industry. Based in London, the firm provides high-quality accounting and tax consultancy services, supporting a diverse portfolio of creative businesses.The role follows a hybrid working model, requiring three days in the office each week. The company boasts a fantastic culture that mirrors the creativity and energy of its clients.Key responsibilities
  • Client management: act as the primary adviser for a portfolio of  clients, including SMEs and complex cases, offering proactive financial and tax-saving strategies.
  • Team leadership and development: mentor junior staff, oversee training for bookkeepers and portfolio assistants, and ensure all client work meets exceptional standards.
  • Audit and compliance: lead audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best practices across group accounts.
  • Operational excellence: ensure billing, recovery rates, and time recording are managed effectively while maintaining a professional and collaborative office environment.
Key skills and experience
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in a small practice environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for staff development.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse client portfolio, ideally within creative industries.
  • Experience conducting audits and managing compliance processes.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
