This Local Authority is seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner (Adults Social Care) to join their team on a permanent basis. The key duties of this Strategic Finance Business Partner (Adults Social Care) are:

  • Ensure robust financial management, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for Adult Social Care.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support transformation initiatives, service improvements, and cost efficiencies.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders, service managers, and councillors, ensuring financial considerations are central to decision-making.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to provide high-quality financial support and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion a culture of financial awareness and accountability across the Adult Social Care Directorate.
  • Maintain financial compliance with relevant legislation and local authority policies, ensuring sound governance and risk management.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance, representing the finance team in key meetings and decision-making processes.
