We are delighted to be working with a leading Lloyd’s broker to support the recruitment for a Binding Authority Account Manager.You will be joining a talented and highly collaborative team that pride themselves and proactively look to provide a fantastic service to their clients; which will see you working closely with producing brokers, coverholders and underwriters.This role will give you the ability to increase your exposure to global delegated arrangements, while developing your knowledge of maintaining and growing a book of delegated business.Key responsibilities include;
  • Preparing delegated documents including; binding authority slips and endorsements
  • Offering guidance to colleagues regarding available coverage and aiding Clients and Underwriters in interpreting clauses
  • Close collaboration with the premium and claims Team, ensuring timely payment of premiums and claims, and managing follow-ups when necessary
  • Assisting in the preparation of market submissions and presentations for new business or renewals by collecting and analysing information
To be considered for the position you will have a solid grasp of insurance market dynamics and core processes, coupled with technical expertise in delegated business, including the drafting of binding authority contracts.You will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.For more details or for a confidential chat get in touch.
