Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships: Manage and expand an existing client portfolio while generating new business through referrals and networking.
  • Tailored Financial Advice: Deliver personalised, independent financial planning advice on pensions, investments, tax, and protection products.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and high compliance standards.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with a talented team of IFAs, paraplanners, and administrators to provide exceptional service.
  • Paraplanning & Admin: Assist with all aspects of financial planning, including report writing and client onboarding.
  • Contribute to Growth: Use your initiative to identify business opportunities and improve internal processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in a financial planning firm, with a proven ability to manage a book of business (£10 million AUM).
  • Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or equivalent) is essential. Progress toward Chartered status is a strong plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage relationships and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Sector: Insurance Wealth Management background preferred

Desirable Attributes

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Currently studying for, or committed to studying for, Chartered Financial Planner status is highly desirable.
  • Broad experience providing holistic financial advice across multiple products.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or equivalent) is essential
