Goodman Masson are delighted to be partnered with a global organisation who are leading the way in climate change initiatives.

They are looking for a commercially minded and experienced FP&A Manager to join their team, for a minimum of 12 months.

As the FP&A Manager you will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business modelling for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead financial planning and business partnering, providing expert insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop multi-year financial models, cash flow forecasts, and investment strategies to support long-term decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, including the Finance, Risk & Audit Committee.
  • Enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Coach budget holders and project owners to strengthen financial literacy and drive value-for-money decision-making.
  • Oversee grant, capital, and long-term project budgeting, ensuring robust investment appraisals.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities, with a strong awareness of VAT, Corporation Tax, and payroll tax considerations.
  • Support the annual audit process, ensuring effective financial controls and risk management.
  • Drive cost improvement initiatives and procurement strategies to enhance financial efficiency.

Key Criteria:

  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis within a complex organisation.
  • Background in a charity or commercial organisation is highly desirable.
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
