The Role: I am recruiting an experienced Paraplanner to join the team at Monenti Partners, a leading Financial Planning firm based in central London (WC1). Working in a collaborative, client focused team you will work closely with the Financial Planners, supporting them in delivering an exceptional, fully holistic, independent, lifestyle financial planning service to frequently complex, HNW clients.
The Paraplanner will be responsible for technical research, cash flow modelling, report writing, producing recommendations and supporting with the building and implementation of the financial planning solutions required to meet a variety of clients’ needs and personal goals.
The successful Paraplanner will be Diploma qualified (Dip PFS) and will receive the support required to become Chartered as part of your planned progression. We are happy to consider a career Paraplanner, or a Paraplanner who is keen to progress into advising, when your skills and experience allow. Paraplanner, responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the Financial Planners to deliver a highly personalised holistic financial planning service.
- Prepare for client meetings and reviews, work to understand the client’s financial situation and use cash flow modelling to prepare and write financial plans and post meeting reports.
- Undertake technical research and financial analysis to support the Financial Planners/ Advisers in identifying suitable solutions for the client.
- Analyse portfolios, benchmarking, rebalancing and on-going portfolio maintenance.
- Work with the administrative support team to ensure recommendations are implemented and the highest level of client service is delivered.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of developments in the financial planning industry and contribute to development of best practice within the team.
Paraplanner, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 18 months’ Paraplanning experience gained in a Financial Planning / Financial Advice environment.
- Diploma qualified (Dip PFS or equivalent)
- A strong technology and mathematical aptitude (knowledge of Voyant and Intelligent Office, or similar, is preferable but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
- A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a customer centric approach.
- Keen to learn, with the opportunity to progress towards becoming become Chartered if you choose to do so (financial support will be provided).
