Location: Central London (Office-based)Salary: £50,000 - £58,000
About Us:RecruitUk have teamed up with an independent financial advisory firm based in Central London. Who specialise in pensions and investment management, helping our clients make sense of their money so they can retire in style (or at least with enough cash to keep the heating on in winter).
The Role:We’re on the hunt for a brilliant Paraplanner to join our clients expanding team. If you live and breathe financial planning, know your Defaqto from your CashCalc, and can write a suitability report that would make Shakespeare weep with joy, we want you.
You'll be working closely with our advisers, crafting top-notch financial plans, and making sure every I is dotted and t is crossed. No sales, no cold calling just solid number-crunching, research, and making advisers look good.
What you’ll be doing:- Writing suitability reports that are both accurate and (somewhat) readable.
- Researching financial products using fancy tools like Defaqto, Selectapension, Iress Xplan, and CashCalc.
- Liaising with advisers, providers, and platforms to keep everything running smoothly.
- Keeping up to date with financial regulations (yes, we know, thrilling stuff).
- Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 (enough to keep your oat latte habit going).
- Four-day workweek (Monday to Thursday—because we believe in long weekends).
- Central London office—no working from your sofa in pyjamas, but at least we have good coffee.
- Great team—you’ll be surrounded by experienced advisers and fellow paraplanners who actually enjoy what they do.
- Level 4 qualified in financial planning.
- Experience working as a Paraplanner in an IFA or wealth management firm.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning tools.
- Ability to translate complex financial jargon into something mere mortals can understand.
- A sense of humour (we take our work seriously, but not ourselves).
If you’re a Paraplanner who loves financial planning but hates the sales side, this is your moment! Drop me a message or give me a call—we’d love to hear from you
