This role will report to the FM Compliance Manager and will support with the Global Health & Safety Strategy, whilst supporting the wider FM Teams to deliver on targets, action plans and training that supports the firms strategy and complies with local regulations.

To conduct ISO 14001 audits in the UK and supporting with the alignment of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) globally.

Team

The Facilities team provide strategic support on projects, risk management, contract management, budget management and ensures the firm acts in accordance with local regulations and ISO standards.

The Facilities team have presence in all Kennedys offices.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and implementation of global HSMS framework which aligns to local regulations and ISO45001.
  • Day to day responsibility of DSE Assessments, providing recommendations and support to users who require equipment.
  • Day to day responsibility of the Compliance Tracking system which provides a document management system and reporting mechanism.
  • Support with Client questionnaires and due diligences.
  • Day to day management of the ISO14001 and co-ordinating audits.
  • Conduct and report on internal audits across Health & Safety & ISO14001.
  • Day to day responsibility of the H&S onboarding and induction process.
  • Provide internal training on systems and processes i.e. evacuation marshal, compliance system and ensure training records are kept up to date.
  • Collating data and reporting on near misses, incidents and accidents.
  • Aligning the EMS globally too support the firms wider ESG Strategy.
  • Provide support and recommendations in alignment to Reasonable Adjustments Policy.
  • Support wider projects and new office openings to ensure the relevant documentation is in place which aligns to the HSMS & EMS.
  • Conduct and review risk assessments in alignment with the H&S framework.
  • To be the natural go to person as escalation on H&S issues.
  • Report and escalate risks and opportunity of improvements.

Required experience

  • Experience of ISO14001
  • Health & Safety experience within a professional services company
  • Previous process and policy management
  • Efficient and diligent document management
  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory knowledge and understanding in FM, H&S and Environmental
  • Excellent administration skills with strong skills in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IOSH trained
  • DSE Assessor trained
  • Internal auditor experience
  • Willingness to travel where required
  • Team player
