The Treasury Dealer will work alongside with the Senior Treasury Dealer to raise funds and provide liquidity for the UK branch of a European Bank

Client Details

We are working with a well-established UK Branch of a European Bank with a Fitch A+ Rating who are recruiting a Senior Dealer and a Dealer into a newly structured team of two.

Description

  • Reporting line to the new Senior Treasury Dealer
  • Actively trade and deal in products such as Loans and Deposits, CDs, ECP, FX Spot and Forward, OIS, and IRS (particularly CDs/CPs)
  • Maintain a detailed account of investor and counterparty activities to identify trading opportunities.
  • Execute transactions professionally and in compliance with regulatory standards, including Bank of England and FCA regulations.
  • Produce ALCO papers to provide an update on market conditions and investor appetite.
  • Support the Senior Dealer and Group Head of Treasury to manage liquidity and daily funding requirements.
  • Partner with the Group Treasury team on pricing strategies and overall funding plans.
  • Identify new funding sources by identifying and engaging with different funding channels and counterparties.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, including CDD, AML/CTF, FATCA, MIFID II, and Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the branch's Risk and Compliance department to ensure adherence to policies.

Profile

  • Prior experience in trading Certificate of Deposits (CDs) and Commercial Papers (ECPs).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to ALCO.
  • Experience within a Treasury Sales department or dealing room.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Bloomberg and other trading platforms, as well as MS Office.
  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset, focused on timely execution.

Job Offer

  • 25 days holiday per annum + Birthday off + bank holidays.
  • All staff must take 10 consecutive days off per annum (2 weeks).
  • 3 Days per Week in Office (City of London).
