Our client is a very well respected Shipping Line in London and seeking an experienced Export Booking Customer Service Coordinator. The successful candidate will be working in the West Africa Trade department and be reporting to the senior Management team. The day to day responsibilities will be:

  • Issuing quotations for RoRo and Breakbulk
  • Follow up quotations made
  • Take and process bookings via telephone, e-mail and on-line, including Cross Trades
  • Confirm booking details back to the customer, informing, if necessary, of specific requirements or restrictions.
  • Dealing with enquiries relating to quotes/bookings/scheduling and queries
  • Some credit control
  • General client liaison
  • Chasing undelivered cargo
  • Liaising with Port and Port Offices
  • Any other tasks that management may deem necessary to fulfil the job role.

The candidate will be required to demonstrate good verbal, written, communication and organisational skills and have strong customer service skills. Must also be computer literate and have knowledge of MS Office. You will be presentable, adaptable, outgoing, with a vibrant, friendly personality and be able to remain calm under pressure.
