Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Who You'll Be Working for:

A Freight forwarding company trading for more than two decades.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Shipment management from start to finish worldwide but mainly including Baltic countries: Russia, Ukraine, Georgia Armenia, Kazakhstan etc.
  • Plan and oversee the flow of goods/containers for international and domestic traffic
  • Production of all necessary export paperwork and product declarations, filing tariffs, bills of lading, licence agreements
  • Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs regulations
  • Resolve customs delays / issues
  • Liaising with Clients and Freight companies
  • Maintain all necessary customs records
  • Opportunity to be involved in business development, such as: rate negotiation, decision making, sales

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous container shipping / freight forwarding experience- is vital.
  • Fluent Russian language skills- is a must.
  • Well-developed numerical and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach to solving problems
  • Business acumen
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
  • Diligence and a high attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with current and new clients(mainly UK and US blue chip companies as well as smaller independent shippers)
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Being prepared to work with customers in different time zones, mostly EU and Russia
