Container Maintenance & Repair Coordinator (Hybrid. 3 days office, 2 days WFH)

  • Process Maintenance & Repair estimates and supervise container repairs.
  • Establish the most appropriate action concerning containers deemed to be beyond economic repair.
  • Monitor overdue containers
  • Forward all claim notifications and documents 
  • Collect and preserve locally available evidence 
  • Appoint surveyors to attend cargo examinations
  • Receive and process invoices from surveyors.
  • Retrieve relevant reefer container download data
  • Liaise closely with the Equipment Department to determine container requirements and prioritize repairs accordingly.
  • Inspect damaged and leased containers in depot as required
  • Determine 3rd party responsibility for damage and contamination
  • Familiar with Bill of Lading
  • Supervise method of repairs; maintaining quality and accuracy, pre-inspection and post repairs
  • Provide lashing material & GENSET tracking and maintenance
