Container Maintenance & Repair Coordinator (Hybrid. 3 days office, 2 days WFH)

Process Maintenance & Repair estimates and supervise container repairs.
Establish the most appropriate action concerning containers deemed to be beyond economic repair.
Monitor overdue containers
Forward all claim notifications and documents
Collect and preserve locally available evidence
Appoint surveyors to attend cargo examinations
Receive and process invoices from surveyors.
Retrieve relevant reefer container download data
Liaise closely with the Equipment Department to determine container requirements and prioritize repairs accordingly.
Inspect damaged and leased containers in depot as required
Determine 3rd party responsibility for damage and contamination
Familiar with Bill of Lading
Supervise method of repairs; maintaining quality and accuracy, pre-inspection and post repairs
Provide lashing material & GENSET tracking and maintenance
