We are delighted to partner with a prominent and dynamic syndicate to recruit an Actuarial Analyst to focus on supporting their Reserving team. This is an exciting chance to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the business's success. This role includes but not limited to:

  • Support the quarterly reserving process: Collaborate closely with underwriters, Heads of Reserving, and other stakeholders.
  • Enhance reserving systems and outputs: Play a key role in developing reserving systems, diagnostics, and data visualisations.
  • Assist in technical provisions: Contribute to the calculation and review of Solvency II technical provisions.
  • Assess reserve uncertainty: Support modelling and parameterisation within the Syndicate capital model.
  • Collaborate externally: Engage with external actuaries and auditors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to business planning: Perform analysis and reviews to ensure achievable and logical loss assumptions.
