Agile Delivery Lead - Security Clearance (SC) - Remote Working

Our client, a global consultancy, are currently looking to hire an Agile Delivery Lead with Active Security Clearance to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be remote working.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide one or more Scrum teams towards achieving program's strategic priorities.
  • Monitor the delivery flow of teams, ensuring timely and accurate execution of roadmap items while maintaining inter-team alignment.
  • Work with the Scrum Master to promote Scrum/Agile principles within the teams and stakeholders, helping them to adopt processes that best suit their needs.
  • Remove impediments and distractions to optimise team performance.
  • Support agile team transformation and encourage teams to adopt agile values and apply Scrum.
  • Ensure teams are practising the core principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team accountability, and visibility.
  • Track and report on project progress, including key metrics such as delivery timelines, budget adherence, and resource utilisation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans / POAP, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation as needed.
  • Support effective budget management within the constraints of the project as required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with other Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
  • Strong experience working in a scaled Scrum environment, coordinating with other Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment using the GDS delivery framework.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the different phases of software product delivery and can contribute to, plan, or run these.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • You can advocate for what a team does to create trust and authenticity.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to navigate challenges across organisational, technical, and political boundaries.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in a scaled Agile environment (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including application development, CI/CD pipelines and tools, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Dynamics technologies
