Are you a highly organised and experienced Attendance Officer? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Haringey, North London, seeking a dedicated professional to help maintain and improve student attendance and punctuality.

This is a large secondary school in a lovely part of London. Located a quick bus ride from the nearest underground station(or a 30 min walk), the school also has on-site parking for drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage student attendance and punctuality records
  • Identify and address attendance concerns with students and families
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and school leadership to resolve attendance issues
  • Collaborate with the pastoral team and external agencies to support student engagement
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare reports for leadership and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an Attendance Officer in a secondary school setting (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team - a quick thinker
  • Proficiency with the SIMS system (essential)
