Excellent behaviour management skills and solid relevant experience will be necessary for the ideal candidate.

About the role - Behaviour mentor - Haringey
- Providing a consistent and fair approach to the management of negative behaviour.
- Assisting teachers in delivering behaviour strategies, either as a whole class, a group of pupils, or an individual.
- Supporting pupils in understanding and regulating their emotions.
- Supporting and engaging in physical intervention when necessary.
- Develop strategies to help pupils turn negative behaviour into positive behaviour by understanding their negative behaviours.
- Liaise regularly with the SENCO and/or school DSL.
- Taking advantage of training and development opportunities as directed by the line manager in order to gain skills and knowledge and stay current with developments in the field of behaviour.
