Behaviour Mentor - Haringey - Secondary school - Immediate start - 90-110 a day

In the heart of Haringey, Teach360 is currently working with a vibrant secondary school. An experienced Behaviour mentor is needed to join this school's team full-time beginning immediately. Excellent behaviour management skills and solid relevant experience will be necessary for the ideal candidate.

About the role - Behaviour mentor - Haringey

  • Providing a consistent and fair approach to the management of negative behaviour.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering behaviour strategies, either as a whole class, a group of pupils, or an individual.
  • Supporting pupils in understanding and regulating their emotions.
  • Supporting and engaging in physical intervention when necessary.
  • Develop strategies to help pupils turn negative behaviour into positive behaviour by understanding their negative behaviours.
  • Liaise regularly with the SENCO and/or school DSL.
  • Taking advantage of training and development opportunities as directed by the line manager in order to gain skills and knowledge and stay current with developments in the field of behaviour.
