The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Male Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 with a pupil who requires tailored support to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. This is a unique opportunity to guide and inspire a young person while fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 1:1 Mentorship: Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil to provide personalized behavioural and emotional support.
  • Behavioural Guidance: Implement effective strategies to support the student's development and manage challenging behaviours with consistency and care.
  • Holistic Support: Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to create and maintain an individualized support plan.
  • Creative Engagement: Use performing arts as a tool to engage the student, building confidence and encouraging self-expression.

  • Experience: Proven track record of working with young people with SEMH needs, ideally in a school or mentoring role.
  • Empathy & Patience: A calm, nurturing approach to help manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Resilience: Ability to stay composed and adaptive in high-pressure situations.
  • Creativity: A passion for performing arts and a willingness to use creative approaches to engage and motivate.
  • Male Role Model: A positive, reliable, and inspiring presence for a young male pupil.
