The Role:
  • Position: Behaviour Mentor.
  • Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
  • Start Date: Immediate.
  • Location: Waltham Forest, East London.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils in both 1:1 and small group settings, supporting their emotional well-being and helping them to engage with their learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group interventions to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Use strategies to help pupils regulate their emotions and improve their behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to develop tailored support plans.
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering confidence and resilience in pupils.
  • Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Psychology graduate or someone with a background in mental health, counselling, or education.
  • Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or additional needs (desirable but not essential).
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with pupils.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
