The Role:

Position: Behaviour Mentor.
Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
Start Date: Immediate.
Location: Waltham Forest, East London.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils in both 1:1 and small group settings, supporting their emotional well-being and helping them to engage with their learning.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group interventions to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
Use strategies to help pupils regulate their emotions and improve their behaviour.
Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to develop tailored support plans.
Act as a positive role model, fostering confidence and resilience in pupils.
Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.

What We're Looking For:

A Psychology graduate or someone with a background in mental health, counselling, or education.
Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or additional needs (desirable but not essential).
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with pupils.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
