Full-Time Behaviour Mentor - Clapham Junction - April Start

A primary school in Clapham Junction is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis starting in April. This role involves working across KS1 and KS2, supporting students with behavioural needs and helping them to engage positively in their learning.



The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional needs

  • Implementing behaviour strategies to promote positive engagement in learning

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to develop individual behaviour plans

  • Building strong relationships with pupils to help boost confidence and self-regulation

  • Supporting in-class learning and assisting with de-escalation techniques when necessary



The School is Looking for:

  • A proactive and patient individual with experience working in a behaviour support role

  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies in a primary school setting

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
