Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced CASS Reconciliations & Reporting Associate to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the accurate accounting and safeguarding of all client money & assets, adhering to controls and FCA CASS regulations. The successful candidate will construct reconciliations, identify and resolve discrepancies, document findings, and work closely with Operations to implement corrective actions. What you'll do:

As a CASS Reconciliations & Reporting Associate, your primary responsibility will be ensuring that all client money & assets are accurately accounted for and safeguarded. You will play a pivotal role in constructing CASS reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, documenting findings, and working closely with Operations to implement corrective actions. Your ability to monitor the allocation of client money promptly and within specified time frames will be crucial. Additionally, you will assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations.

* Construct CASS reconciliations in accordance with internal policies.* Undertake discrepancy management, ensuring exceptions are investigated, escalated or resolved.* Ensure that asset shortfalls are identified and correctly funded.* Monitor the allocation of client money to ensure it is allocated promptly.* Complete the daily Internal Client Money Reconciliation.* Collate data required for the production of the CMAR submission.* Peer review and sign-off of reconciliations performed within the team.* Perform any User Acceptance Testing or other system testing relating reconciliation activities.* Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the CASS Reconciliations & Reporting Associate role brings proven experience in financial operations, reconciliations or similar roles. You possess strong knowledge of CASS regulations and have exposure to automated reconciliation tools like Autorek. Your high standard of IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel, coupled with your detail-oriented nature allows you to excel in this role. Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage positively with colleagues at all levels and third parties.

* Experience in constructing both Client Money and Asset Reconciliations.* Proven experience in financial operations, reconciliations, or similar roles.* Strong knowledge of CASS regulations.* Exposure to automated reconciliation tools; Autorek is desirable.* High standard of IT literacy with a focus on Microsoft Excel.* Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines independently.* Excellent communication skills; able to engage positively with colleagues at all levels and third parties.
