Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing contractor based in the North London area who are looking for a highly skilled Disrepair Supervisor to join their team.

Their focus is on maintaining and improving social housing properties to ensure safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes for tenants. They are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Disrepair Supervisor to join the team and play a key role in managing disrepair works on a wide range of housing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Disrepair Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of disrepair works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing a team of tradespeople and subcontractors to deliver disrepair works efficiently and effectively.
  • Conducting site visits to assess the scope of works and ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Working closely with the contracts manager, surveyors, and other internal teams to ensure all disrepair works are compliant with industry standards and contractual obligations.
  • Managing project timelines, ensuring that work is carried out according to agreed schedules.
  • Ensuring all repairs and works meet the necessary quality standards and tenant satisfaction.
  • Handling client communications, dealing with any issues or concerns that arise during the project.
  • Reporting on progress, budgets, and any potential delays or issues to senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor in the disrepair or repairs sector, ideally within the social housing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high standards.
