Driver Engagement Associate – Account Manager

Location: East London, Silvertown

Shift Pattern: Rota-based (Mon-Sun), 5 days working week – 2 weekends off, 2 weekends on.

As a Driver Engagement Associate, you will work closely with daily delivery drivers and take charge of their customer service training, route planning and health & safety regulations. You will take part in daily delivery operations making sure the highest of the customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, motivate and take part in daily driver training and onboarding.
  • Keeping track of drivers' continuous training and development.
  • Work towards growth and improvement of your personal and team KPIs.
  • Handle customer and driver inquiries, the full onboarding process and their productivity development.

 

Ideal skill set we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a warehousing, driving or logistics environment.
  • Mandatory clean and full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to adapt to and implement new operational processes in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Good understanding of driving route mapping and planning.
  • Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
