Empowering Learning are working with a successful Secondary School based in Hillingdon who are seeking a full-time DT Technician to start ASAP. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, and will have experience using wood work and laser machinery.

About the Role:As a DT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our DT department, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students have access to the tools and resources they need to excel. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons
  • Maintaining tools and machinery to ensure they are safe and in working order
  • Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions, offering technical support and guidance to students
  • Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Contributing to the development of exciting and engaging DT projects and activities

About You:We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for design and technology. The ideal candidate will have:
