About the Role:

Are you skilled with hand tools and woodworking, or do you hold a degree in a design-related field such as DT, Engineering, or Art? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated DT Technician to join a secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting the DT and Art departments in a vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in practical lessons (KS3 and KS4) to enhance students' experience in Design and Technology
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff
  • Work across all areas within the Art, Design, and Technology faculty
  • Promote and ensure health and safety within the department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Engineering, DT, or Art) or have practical experience with hand tools and woodworking
  • Be passionate about the potential of every pupil
  • Be reliable and possess strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential
