Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse- Wimbledon

Salary:£26,500 - £30000depending on qualification and experience

Holidays:45 paid holidaysper annum.

40hworking week with paid breaks.


This wonderful nursery in Wimbledon are looking for an amazingLevel 2 or aboveEarly Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join their team.

Working hours are shifts between 7:30 am and 6 pm, Monday-Friday.


Purpose of the Job:

To provide care and learning experiences for all children in the nursery, particularly those for whom you act as a key person, in a safe, happy, stimulating and developmentally appropriate way, in compliance with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS),Nursery Policies and Kerens Manual.

Person Specification:

1. Willingness to learn.

2. A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children.

3. Previous experience of working with young children.

4. Commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.

5. Commitment to young children and families.

6. Friendly, flexible approach.

7. Health clearance for the job.

8. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

9. Good customer awareness.

10. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, colleagues and parents.

12. Time management skills and the ability to multitask.


Salary Scale:

Level 2: £26.5K/year

Level 3 (full and relevant): £28K/year

Level 5 or 6 (full and relevant): £28.5K/year

QTS: £30K/year
